Agkistrodon piscivorus
Agkistrodon piscivorus is a venomous snake, a species of pit viper, found in the southeastern United States. Adults are large and capable of delivering a painful and potentially fatal bite. When antagonized, they will stand their ground by coiling their bodies and displaying their fangs. Although their aggression has been exaggerated, individuals may bite when feeling threatened or being handled. This is the world's only semiaquatic viper, usually found in or near water, particularly in slow-moving and shallow lakes, streams, and marshes. The snake is a strong swimmer and will even enter the sea. It has successfully colonized islands off both the Atlantic and Gulf coasts.
The generic name is derived from the Greek words ancistro (hooked) and odon (tooth), and the specific name comes from the Latin piscis (fish) and voro (to eat); thus, the scientific name translates into “hooked-tooth fish-eater”. Common names include variants on water moccasin, swamp moccasin, black moccasin, cottonmouth, gapper, or simply viper. Many of the common names refer to the threat display, where this species will often stand its ground and gape at an intruder, exposing the white lining of its mouth. Three subspecies are currently recognized, including the nominate subspecies described here. Its diet consists mainly of fish and frogs but is otherwise highly varied and, uniquely, has even been reported to include carrion.

This is a list of villages in Massachusetts, arranged alphabetically.
In Massachusetts, villages usually do not have any official legal status; all villages are part of an incorporated municipality (town or city - see List of municipalities in Massachusetts) which is the smallest official form of government. The terms "community", "district", "neighborhood", and "section" are often used to describe these non-municipal entities, which vary considerably in size and relative geographic isolation. Boundaries are sometimes ambiguous, though the United States Census uses the term census-designated place when it assigns boundaries to these entities (based on local usage) for the purpose of tabulating community demographics. Many villages have neighborhood associations.

Not included are the urban agglomerations of Quebec, which, although they group together multiple municipalities, exercise only what are ordinarily local municipal powers.

Local municipalities
All municipalities (except cities), whether township, village, parish, or unspecified ones, are functionally and legally identical. The only difference is that the designation might serve to disambiguate between otherwise identically-named municipalities, often neighbouring ones. Many such cases have had their names changed, or merged with the identically-named nearby municipality since the 1950s, such as the former Township of Granby and City of Granby merging and becoming the Town of Granby in 2007.

Junior et Juvénal convoient de l’essence au volant d’un vieux camion militaire allemand, malgré les 8 roues motrices de leur géant d’acier, suivant la saison, ils mettent entre 3 jours et 3 semaines pour parcourir les 70 km qui les séparent de la ville. il faut dire que la piste qui traverse la jungle ressemble, le plus souvent, à une mare de boue. Les Congolais ont l’habitude de dire que celui qui ne voyage pas ne connaît pas la valeur des hommes. Dans le Sud Kivu, les voyageurs sont presque tous des héros. Il en faut du courage pour sillonner les pistes de cette région oubliée de tous. La ville de Shabunda est l’une des plus enclavées du Congo. Junior et Juvénal convoient de l’essence au volant d’un vieux camion militaire allemand, malgré les 8 roues motrices de leur géant d’acier, suivant la saison, ils mettent entre 3 jours et 3 semaines pour parcourir les 70 km qui les séparent de la ville. il faut dire que la piste qui traverse la jungle ressemble, le plus souvent, à une mare de boue. L’essence arrive par camion car il est bien trop dangereux de la livrer par avion comme la nourriture. Du coup, le prix des denrées explose. Shabunda est tellement difficile d’accès que la vie y est plus chère que dans n’importe quelle ville européenne. Les familles les plus pauvres vont chercher de la nourriture à vélos ou à moto à l’autre bout de la piste. Ces forçats de la route transportent jusqu’à 250 kilos de marchandises dans la boue pendant 3 jours. Mais alors, pourquoi 80 000 personnes s’obstinent-elles à vivre à Shabunda ? Et bien pour l’immense trésor qui se trouve au fond de la rivière qui la borde. Les ressources en or sont immenses. A moto, en vélo, derrière un volant ou aux commandes d’un avion, les 6 millions de congolais de la région du Kivu se battent tous les jours sans jamais baisser les bras.

Agkistrodon piscivorus
Agkistrodon piscivorus is a venomous snake, a species of pit viper, found in the southeastern United States. Adults are large and capable of delivering a painful and potentially fatal bite. When antagonized, they will stand their ground by coiling their bodies and displaying their fangs. Although their aggression has been exaggerated, individuals may bite when feeling threatened or being handled. This is the world's only semiaquatic viper, usually found in or near water, particularly in slow-moving and shallow lakes, streams, and marshes. The snake is a strong swimmer and will even enter the sea. It has successfully colonized islands off both the Atlantic and Gulf coasts.
The generic name is derived from the Greek words ancistro (hooked) and odon (tooth), and the specific name comes from the Latin piscis (fish) and voro (to eat); thus, the scientific name translates into “hooked-tooth fish-eater”. Common names include variants on water moccasin, swamp moccasin, black moccasin, cottonmouth, gapper, or simply viper. Many of the common names refer to the threat display, where this species will often stand its ground and gape at an intruder, exposing the white lining of its mouth. Three subspecies are currently recognized, including the nominate subspecies described here. Its diet consists mainly of fish and frogs but is otherwise highly varied and, uniquely, has even been reported to include carrion.
